Elder Regina Davis
Elder Regina Davis was born in Dallas, Texas on April 27th, 1964. She is a woman of dignity, courage, strength, and full of God's kind of faith. In 1970, her mother relocated the family to Oakland, California where Regina later graduated from Oakland Technical High School. In 1981, she was saved, spirit-filled, and began to consecrate herself in much prayer, fasting, and the study of God's Word. Elder Regina accepted the call, and was licensed to preach in March of 2003 under Apostle A.B. Emerson. She has studied Theology from Trinity College of the Bible & Theological Seminary of Indiana. She is a true worshipper that served as Minister of Music at Zion Tabernacle for 28 years and now heads the Music Department of Zion Tabernacle The House of Prayer Church. She is also a member of the anointed band, Elder Regina and The King's Men.
Favorite Scripture: Joshua 1:5, "There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life; as I was with Moses, so shall I be with thee; I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee."
Elder Doris Jarvis
Originating from the great Bayou state of Louisiana, Elder Doris Jarvis was the 7th child born to Earl & Mary Sims, Sr. She presently resides in Hayward, California with her husband, Elder Julius Jarvis, II. They have been blessed with two wonderful children, Kolika Omar, and Julius Jarvis, III. Elder "D", as she is affectionately known where she currently serves at Zion Tabernacle The House of Prayer under the leadership of Bishop Erik Nation, was a member of Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church for 33 years, serving under Apostle Alonzo B. Emerson prior to his retirement to Atlanta, Georgia. In 2006, God assured her of her calling just as He spoke to Paul according to Acts 18:9-10 and in that same year she was licensed by Apostle Emerson to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She went on to study at Trinity College but in 2008 she graduated from the Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College where she received her B.A. in Theology.
Elder "D" currently serves as the choir director and Elder of the Youth & Young Adult Ministry. Because of her passion and determination for encouraging and motivating young ladies to live Godly, she sought the Lord for direction in ministry and was led to establish a faith-based mentoring program for girls known as S.H.A.R.E. (Sisters Helping Adolescents Reach Excellence). She is commited to preach, teach and reach with a loving kindness that will draw the lost and broken-hearted to God.
Elder "D" takes comfort in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD....
Elder Julius T. Jarvis, II
Elder Edie Mae Malone
Elder Jarvis was born in Oakland, California to Julius & Mary Jarvis, Sr. He and Elder Doris Jarvis have been married for over 30 years. They are the proud and blessed parents of 2 children, Kolika Omar, and Julius, III. Elder Jarvis was called to the ministry to preach in 2001 and licensed that year under the leadership of Apostle Alonzo Emerson. He studied at the Trinity College, the Bay Cities Bible College, and is a 2008 graduate of the Sacramento Theological Seminary and Bible College with a B.A. in Theology. He diligently seeks God, he stands on His promises, and he studies to show himself approved. Apostle Emerson recognized his determination, sincerity, and dedication for the work of the Lord and with the approval of God, he ordained him in 2011 to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Apostle Emerson nicknamed Elder Jarvis his "Judah Son" because of his strong enthusiasm for praising the Lord. He believes that if the Lord allows you to enter His gates, you should do it with thanksgiving and when you come into His courts, come in with praise. He is a noted prayer warrior and started the Zion Tabernacle men's prayer-line in an effort to strengthen the men of God. Elder Jarvis curretly serves as the Elder over the Sunday school under the leadership of Bishop Erik Nation at Zion Tabernacle the House of Prayer and was past superintendent for many years. He is also the Elder of the Men's Ministry and takes pride in working with them in becoming men of valor, Godly husbands, and Kingdom builders.
His favorite scripture is: Matthew 6:33, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
